Gary low explains "I had a client return from the United States and commission me to design
A plasma cabinet. This being the only way his wife would allow a 42" television in their 17th century farmhouse".
I had to create a cabinet that functioned as a TV cabinet, but also a sideboard.
This has been achieved by placing a remote controlled lifting mechanism in the rear part of the cabinet raising and lowering the plasma and the front of the cabinet for traditional storage.
Gary Low adds when he first demonstrated the model to his young son, his response was Dad its like magic it just pops up and then disappears. As positive a reply as you would expect from a five year old, but a definite thumbs up.
The New Home of Plasma TV` s
Each cabinet is designed to the clients own personnel style and requirements.
The choice of timbers range from oak, ash, maple and cherry to the more traditional mahogany and walnut.
Gary Low understands the need for progression, combining modern technology with the skills of traditional furniture making, to achieve a functional piece of furniture that satisfies all parties involved.
Pictured here is our contemporary model in solid maple with bird’s eye maple door panels.
